I think THIS is the highlight of this show, along with Jack Straw, Deal, TLEO and Minglewood. Scarlet/Fire and Morning Dew are pretty good as well, but THIS BEW TAKES THE CAKE. Jerry's vocals are PERFECT. And his solo after the first chorus is, musically, probably the best solo I have ever heard him do. I mean, it's really interesting - listen closely to the "doubling over" theme he does at the beginning of each phrasing. Mention the best tone ever, with that aluminum-necked Travis Bean.

I think this is the most perfect that this song could get, while being very "inspired". The vocal harmonies are FLAWLESS. The only version that could be more perfectly executed is from Europe '72. But to me, this one is way more musically interesting than that one. Even some slight accelerando and decelerando. The only thing I don't like is the "fourth day of juLYYYY" part. But that's quickly redeemed by the amazing harmonies that follow

The perfect version. Also, there's a particular note Jerry hits in his first solo (after Donna's first vocal solo) that rings out and announces itself to the world - and that first solo as a whole being the best and most musically concise in any TMNS I have ever heard. The outtro is just insane.
