Doin' That Rag
Sept. 29, 1969
Cafe au Go-Go

OK, this is really a submission for the following Seven jam. But that on its own should make this the most popular Rag.

Row Jimmy
April 23, 1977
Springfield Civic Center

The way every member weaves together in Jerry's second solo is so perfect it seems pre-orchestrated. Pristine.

Mind Left Body Jam
April 17, 1975
Ace's Studio

Mind Left Body/Music Never Stopped jam from Blues for Allah sessions. Wicked cool.

Not Fade Away
Sept. 25, 1976
Capital Centre

Simply enjoyable '76 mellowness. Fire on the Mountain/Happiness is Drumming teases by Phil before Drums!

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Merriweather Post Pavilion

Dark Star
Dec. 5, 1971
Felt Forum - Madison Square Garden

I'm always down for a sick transition and these are really dope. Jerry stays in dark star mode up until the first verse of MAMU, and the segue back into dark star is explosive before settling into spaciness and a creative transition into Sittin. The first Dark Star segment is beautiful jamming, btw
The Music Never Stopped
June 25, 1991
Sandstone Amphitheatre

It's a shame Jerry's low in all the mixes because he SHREDS. interesting work from the keys as well
He's Gone
Dec. 5, 1979
Uptown Theater

Had to listen after reading that statement. Deliberate, polished, and beautiful - good call
Stella Blue
Dec. 14, 1980
Long Beach Arena

Jerry starts a beautiful repeating riff in the outro jam - the whole band picks up on it and takes this Stella soaring before falling into Around and Around. Cannot believe this isn't better known
Loser
Dec. 14, 1980
Long Beach Arena

Ripping solo here, I'd recommend to anyone who likes Albany 1990. It's gems like this that make me love this site, thanks for pointing out this excellent show (and AUD)!
