Heavy metal Jerry as he tears through the solo on this one.

2nd to Greek'84 for '80s fallback versions to me. Jerry's solo just does it.

Morning Dew
July 22, 1984
Ventura County Fairgrounds
Yeah this D>S is as hot as stated. This Dew is hot as well. Jerry is very proficient in the mid-song solo. It's a hot one. Also any Dew where there is fanning is hot on some level.
Morning Dew
April 14, 1984
Hampton Coliseum
I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Extended lyrical sequence, I love when he did that. The band is channeling their '69 selves. No let up at all in this one, and Jerry crushes it in the 2nd solo. Heck the 1st as well.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 13, 1984
Hampton Coliseum
Mickey's percussions, Healy's vocal experiments and especially the band's energy make this one very heady. It is one of the best of the year.
Might As Well
Oct. 11, 1984
Civic Center
This is a manic might as well. Great version on a tight night for the band as a whole.
Shakedown Street
Oct. 11, 1984
Civic Center
Give me Oct 84 all day every day. This Shakedown was on, a down right dance hall jamfest. Jerry misses an entire bridge and it was still amazing. That was 84 for ya, awesome but not without somei warts
