This song is not really in a "heady" format, but I always liked it as a 1st set tune. This version is well.played as is this show.

Yes 1984. I love the ups that happen in this year. This version has a lot of great energy from the boys. Mid-song solo is very strong.

Yeah this D>S is as hot as stated. This Dew is hot as well. Jerry is very proficient in the mid-song solo. It's a hot one. Also any Dew where there is fanning is hot on some level.

I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Extended lyrical sequence, I love when he did that. The band is channeling their '69 selves. No let up at all in this one, and Jerry crushes it in the 2nd solo. Heck the 1st as well.

Mickey's percussions, Healy's vocal experiments and especially the band's energy make this one very heady. It is one of the best of the year.

Give me Oct 84 all day every day. This Shakedown was on, a down right dance hall jamfest. Jerry misses an entire bridge and it was still amazing. That was 84 for ya, awesome but not without somei warts
