This whole show just has it. The best versions of this song are played with patience into the bridge and the backgrounds are key. This ones a clinic.

Jam>space>drum>China Doll. Slow and mysterious as the song is meant to be played.

2 great shows in Richmond. 1 a DP the other could have been. Jerry brings the boys down to a hush before tha final chorus.

Deal
Oct. 17, 1983
Olympic Center

This show could have easily been the Oct release. After an amazing Sugaree the 1st set stays very tight and ends with this monster Deal. About midway through the final solo Bobby starts a speed chord progression that ignites JerBer and the rest of the band and the solo just soars. It is not to be missed, 2nd set has its treats as well.

A crazy jammin' jamfest for sure. The band is amped up for this one with Brent wrecking it on he B3.

A beauty for sure. I am partial to the cold start versions, but do also love when they jam into a Terrapin. Call me conflicted, but what I do know is this version Does not dissappoint.

Jerry, in fact, Was tearing it up from Go in Alaska. Brent's falsetto is great stuff here.
