Throwing Stones

Oakland Coliseum
Always been a favorite version. A great ending to an excellent year.

China Doll

Richmond Coliseum
This one is just ridiculously good. Jerry's solo is fantastic, and the band is on all the way through.

DP5 ver. - Outstanding version in every department. It's just exactly perfect.

Very sweet version.

Dire Wolf

The Spectrum
Another one of those "not sure why it's" great versions. The Philly crowd singalong is great too!

Friend of the Devil
Sept. 12, 1981
Greek Theater
Come on. Great version. Jers solo makes it for me.
Candyman
Oct. 27, 1979
Cape Cod Coliseum
The 2nd set gets all the attention but this first set was something on its own.
Mind Left Body Jam
June 28, 1974
Boston Garden
As stated, it's much more than just a MLB jam. But in that, its great. In a matter of 1 week the boys played my favorite 2 jams, Boston and Miami. Arguably, this is their best jam sequence ever. Think about that.
The Other One
Oct. 10, 1976
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
Should be much higher. The intro segment has the band extending and playing around with crowd. Phil fakes his thunder roll several times then holds back until it's absolutely ready to go. Tons of energy here. It's part of of a trippy and very well-played 2nd set.
Brokedown Palace
July 22, 1984
Ventura County Fairgrounds
Beautiful. Music and vocals are spot on. It doesn't get better.
