I'm surprised this early version hasn't been mentioned. Very loose, and builds nicely to the Other One.

From a pretty solid first set, this is a stand-out version of Eternity with Bruce Hornsby: worth a listen.

For my money this is *the* version of Midnight Hour, and also encapsulates the great spirit of the Acid Test-era Dead.

Yes, it's a unique show! Right before this one of the kids yells out "Rock n Roll!" Garcia responds, "Well, this is kind of like rock n roll..."
