Wave to the Wind
Feb. 24, 1992
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Good early version. I like the more complicated changes in 1992, almost seems like they were trying for an Eyes-feel.

The Other One
Feb. 24, 1992
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

One of the stronger late-era versions. Split across Drums (with a third jam segment before). What's not to like?

I'm surprised this early version hasn't been mentioned. Very loose, and builds nicely to the Other One.

Eternity
March 25, 1994
Nassau Coliseum

From a pretty solid first set, this is a stand-out version of Eternity with Bruce Hornsby: worth a listen.

Deal
Aug. 4, 1994
Giants Stadium

In the midst of a lackluster set (and show, and tour) this is a great version. Not as explosive, but well explored, with several intricate parts.

And We Bid You Goodnight

Greek Theater

Soild version.
Uncle John's Band
May 21, 1982
Greek Theatre, U. Of California

Yes, that jam afterwards is extremely interesting. It dances around the Playin' theme, never quite gets there, and continues the UJB mood, while being rooted in something other.
Playin' In The Band
July 1, 1985
Merriweather Post Pavilion

For a shot version there are a surprising number of things going on in this version, including a couple of moments where Jerry switches moods suddenly and the band follows him nicely.
Promised Land
April 1, 1980
Capitol Theatre

Yeah, of course it's terrible, but it should be heard. If only, you know, just to hear it.
Big Railroad Blues
Oct. 9, 1984
The Centrum

Agree totally. This is a long version, which almost reaches "jam-song" intensity. JG tries out a variety of different sounds on this one.
