I'm surprised this early version hasn't been mentioned. Very loose, and builds nicely to the Other One.

From a pretty solid first set, this is a stand-out version of Eternity with Bruce Hornsby: worth a listen.

Yes, that jam afterwards is extremely interesting. It dances around the Playin' theme, never quite gets there, and continues the UJB mood, while being rooted in something other.

For a shot version there are a surprising number of things going on in this version, including a couple of moments where Jerry switches moods suddenly and the band follows him nicely.

Agree totally. This is a long version, which almost reaches "jam-song" intensity. JG tries out a variety of different sounds on this one.
