The lead in to this is beautiful, a wonderful performance. Should be here.

Bonus disc to Winterland 73 Box Set... Bobby and Jerry were singing it like they meant it. Great jam and transition to a beautiful Stella

I agree, nice rocking' 90's performance... Nice Hammond B3 (or sound alike) ... it rocks... Why do 90's tapes sound so much more ambient? The Betty boards were right up in your face...

My personal all time favorite. Got this from a Dead Pod(cast), Has everyone who voted the others, heard this one? The lead up to Jerry's solo builds the tension and then Jerry comes out like a possessed whirling dervish and eF-ing NAILS it, and later Phil chords his bass... my GOD man... Listen to this!!!!

Yea, I agree with you guys, nice performance!! It feels relaxed and unforced, unlike some of the other highly rated versions.... This song has a tricky melody and tempo which benefits from the laid back approach on this night... one of my favorite Scarlets... GDTRFB is killer too!!

@ jubel... May 77 is an AWESOME place to start for great live dead... Cannot go wrong with this show!! Check out Buffalo, Boston, Hartford and, of course, Barton Hall for nice May 77 shows... This date is my new favorite! This Mississippi smokes, but I remain partial to 11/11/73 as the one I keep going back to.
