Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again
July 14, 1990
Foxboro Stadium

Powerful stadium-sized blast of Dylan. This one just clicks along almost perfectly. Brent's B3 solo just rips...

Looks Like Rain

Great LL Rain from my first show. Some "thunder" audio weirdness (Healy?) makes this one unique. Nice raindrop notes fom Jerry at the climax, too.

Sugaree

Cleveland Public Auditorium

Nicely stretched out, mellow version from Summer '80. This one has some righteous peaks and I love Brent's B3 sound here.

Death Don't Have No Mercy
Feb. 27, 1969
Fillmore West

This is the one. Jerry shows what he learned from Janis vocally on this one. Just dripping with emotion.

Truckin'

California State University Dominguez Hills

This is just a monster version. The boys are finally clickin' on all cylinders on this scorching afternoon. Every member really shines.

FOUR votes? C'mon people... this one's a smoker!
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
April 12, 1978
Cameron Indoor Stadium

Aw jeez...what can I add? This is the one you've been looking for, no doubt. If you ever wondered what it would sound like if Jerry was in a metal band, and they played U.S. Blues, here you go. You gotta see the video, though. STARTLING to see Jerry move like that on stage. I love it. Not the tightest, but ol' Jer clearly had ALL of his mixes dialed that night. Just exactly perfect.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
April 14, 1971
Davis Gym, Bucknell University

This one is a SMOKER. I think this is close to the prototype version of China>Rider in it's peak period. They got jammier later on, but they were never this punchy again. Sounds great on 30DoD from 2012...
He's Gone
Feb. 26, 1981
Uptown Theater

An amazing jam emerges out of this one...almost 10 minutes worth of unique goodness!
