My first one. Missed the bustouts at Hampton '89 and RFK '90, but this one was huge...actually, the whole show was pretty colossal!

Jerry just nails this version to the wall coming out of a sick Eleven Jam. This one is special.

Okay, the Alligator's kinda short, but I nominate the entire Alligator>Drums>Eleven Jam because it hasn't been talked about on here. Smokin'.

Dancin' in the Streets

"C'mon everybody get in a big long line and dance around now!" Absolutely primal Dead

Morning Dew

Capital Centre

Towering Dew. Jerry just emotes all over the place! The Ripple gets all the love from this night, but the Dew is the climax and the real highlight.

To quote Jerry, (re: Johnny B. Goode) "This is the one it's all about, folks..." Primal Dead at it's drippy, awkward, lumbering best. Jer's got the late '67 Les Paul tone that I love so much, and Pigpen's at his match-making, crowd-exhorting, frontman best. Hang onto your hats, you guys.

They do "get weird" indeed. Wow, these Europe '72 Playin's were somethin ELSE!

Heady 13 minute version I got from 30DoD 2013.
Comes A Time
Oct. 30, 1971
Taft Auditorium

I really love these early ones with the extra verse Jerry dropped later. Great vocal delivery on this one...

Spinning this (DP10) now for the 40th anniversary of this show today. Really nice one! Wolf's tone over the TB gives this one an edge over the May giants, at least for me. Jerry really gets to fannin' some flames in the middle solo. This one is titanic.
