How can this one not be on here? This is what early Bertha should sound like! Check out Billy K...

Three Rivers Stadium

The very last time the Candyman came around. Also the last time I saw Jer, and I was right up front for this one.

Huge 80's LIG @ MSG. Really nice work from Weir. I'm surprised this one isn't ranked yet. Listen on 30 Days of the Dead from 2013

Szechuan Jerry...he's all sweet and hot on this one from the 30 Trips box. Spicy!

Uncle John's Band

Extremely powerful version, especially for a west coast, afternoon show! Not perfect, but pretty underrated, and the last time I got to see Brent :(

FOUR votes? C'mon people... this one's a smoker!
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
April 12, 1978
Cameron Indoor Stadium

Aw jeez...what can I add? This is the one you've been looking for, no doubt. If you ever wondered what it would sound like if Jerry was in a metal band, and they played U.S. Blues, here you go. You gotta see the video, though. STARTLING to see Jerry move like that on stage. I love it. Not the tightest, but ol' Jer clearly had ALL of his mixes dialed that night. Just exactly perfect.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
April 14, 1971
Davis Gym, Bucknell University

This one is a SMOKER. I think this is close to the prototype version of China>Rider in it's peak period. They got jammier later on, but they were never this punchy again. Sounds great on 30DoD from 2012...
He's Gone
Feb. 26, 1981
Uptown Theater

An amazing jam emerges out of this one...almost 10 minutes worth of unique goodness!
