Now, bear with me. This little ditty is commonly known as the "Cowboy Song", but I maintain that this is the band's first attempt at the basic progression of "Sugar Magnolia", and that someone jumped in and added some impromptu vocals. I have proposed this to no one less than Charlie Miller (if you don't know who he is, well, then...), and he does not agree, but I will hold fast... Does no one else hear the embryo of Sugar Mag? I'd really love to discuss this odd little bit of GD history...
