Keith is fantastic throughout - gives this version the same vibe as some of Garcia/Saunders explorations during the same time period. Fun listen. #50

Sure there’s a couple lyric flubs, but Jerry delivers in a slight trippy fashion during this loping version. Love it

Proudly submit this version. That Dusborne matrix gives this superb depth of sound. Brent’s Hammond solo is lively and strong, and Jerry’s lightning.

Surprised this one hasn’t been submitted already. Raucous version with Brent getting weirdly psychedelic for his calypso-like solo

Fantastic version, beautifully climactic peak, and the crowd greatly approves! Upvote - super underrated show.
Franklin's Tower

West High Auditorium

What this lacks in quantity as far as track length, it more than makes up for in quality of solo breaks and overall energy of the tune & crowd! Upvoted to 6 votes- deserves a few more IMO.

‘Peter’ has a bluesy swag to it instead of the slower, dirge-like crawls they’d deliver. Big fan. Show delivers - underrated - upvote.
St. Stephen

The ‘St Stephen’ jam, before the coda drops us all into ‘NFA,’ is a gorgeous, thematic journey through what feels like an idyllic day along the coast of California - at least that’s what I see when I close my eyes. It’s probably a bit melodramatic to mention that this is the first ‘Stephen’ of the year 1977, the songs final year of being in normal rotation, but it seems noteworthy after hearing the beauty they reach on this evening.
The Other One
Feb. 19, 1982
Golden Hall, Community Concourse

‘Space’ slinks its way into a fantastic jam/intro to ‘The Other One,’ which gets to a tranquil, quiet space until Phil shreds space and time with a thunderous ‘Other One’ run and the world explodes into color! There is a fiery dismantling of main theme during the intra verse jam with more explosive Phil bombs and a jangly appreciation for Bobby’s incredibly unique rhythm guitar; just exactly perfect. Slowly, this ‘Other One’ descends back into our dimension and, with a beautifully subtle key change, we arrive at the blue light, cheap hotel. #UpVote
