Keith is fantastic throughout - gives this version the same vibe as some of Garcia/Saunders explorations during the same time period. Fun listen. #50

Frost Amphitheatre

Sure there’s a couple lyric flubs, but Jerry delivers in a slight trippy fashion during this loping version. Love it

Proudly submit this version. That Dusborne matrix gives this superb depth of sound. Brent’s Hammond solo is lively and strong, and Jerry’s lightning.

Surprised this one hasn’t been submitted already. Raucous version with Brent getting weirdly psychedelic for his calypso-like solo

The journey on the intro is worthy of an upvote on its own.
Feel Like A Stranger
July 4, 1981
Manor Downs

Very upbeat version, razor sharp, really sets the tone for set II.

Oxford Plains Speedway

So much emotion and energy...should be rated higher.
China Doll
May 6, 1984
Silva Hall

While ‘84 is not a landmark year by any means, I do feel that there is good in “dem there hills” if one looks long enough. This ‘China Doll’ is an example and deserves to be higher up on the list. Brent’s harpsichord-like keys and Jer’s gravelly voice bring a ethereal quality to the table. Beautiful tone with just the right amount of imperfection out of Jerry’s guitar. Solid.

New Haven Coliseum

Have to throw my hat in the ring! This version deserves to be much higher.
