This one gets ROARING before the final verse. Great harp solos from Pig too.

All of Bob's cowboy songs from this show are smokin' hot

Very humorous lines from Garcia during the last verse of this version, made me smile

Fantastic drumming in this
Black Peter
March 21, 1970
Capitol Theater
This is probably the finest acoustic version I've heard. Creative guitar fills and gorgeous Jerry vocals.
Viola Lee Blues
March 20, 1970
Capitol Theater
Reaches a Cumberland-type rhythm about halfway through that keeps building faster and harder until Jerry has to turn on his distortion to be heard, then he blasts you into outer space. Ecstatic noise for a good long while. A new favorite.
Sugaree
Aug. 7, 1971
Golden Hall
I think they take the ending vocal section for an extra round or two here. You can tell the band is feeling this one.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Aug. 7, 1971
Golden Hall
Great jam here that sounds like Cold Rain & Snow for the first few minutes.
