Interesting comment regarding similarity between this and Englishtown - I do agree stylistically, but definitely not note for note close. I go with Englishtown as best-ever Eyes, but Pembroke as best-ever Estimated. IMHO. I love both of these shows, although since I was at Englishtown, it always has a special place in my heart. I thought it was interesting that the last four songs of the Pembroke show were all Jerry songs - departure from the usual Bobby/Jerry tune trade-off. Maybe Bobby had a sore throat - it was Spring, after all.

I agree - the second solo on this transcends itself - it always puts me on the chills-up-the-back-of-my-spine spot. Nothing better.

Nice, but slow. Doesn't compare to most 70's shows - and I'll take the Englishtown 77 over the Roosevelt Stadium 74.
