Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo

The Palladium

Jerry nails both the jam AND the vocals -- awesome! UPDATE: Okay, listened to this one again and all the others above it. With respect to the longer/spacier versions (especially the "Rio Grande" section) from Fall 77, this one is still tops for me end-to-end. It has an energy from the get-go that the others don't, and Jerry plays with a combo of ferocity, sharpness, and inventiveness at the same time that's just unrivaled. Though I'm a guitar player so I may be biased to the version in which Jerry shreds the most!
