Fast and energetic with some really inspired moments, despite harsh keys sound.

Row Jimmy

Hartford Civic Center
Great vocals from all and the solos are really sweet. Lesh is all over this and the reggae ending is nicely handled. Whole gig's a good 'un.

Uncle John's Band
Sept. 29, 1977
Paramount Theatre
Encore with crazy drumming, Weir's guitar nice and high in the mix, and Garcia relentless. Vocals are pretty good too.

Just terrific. Phil really shines. One of the very best of the very many I've heard.
Ramble On Rose

Berkeley Community Theatre
Thanks for the heads up. Keith's having a lot of fun on this, isn't he?

The vocal is really delicate at times and deeply soulful, but getting the first line wrong stops it from being a perfect one. And there are one or two 'ouch, who did that?' notes played by someone here and there. Maybe I'm being too picky, though. It definitely deserves more love on the strength of the singing alone.
