Hot Sugar Magnolia to cap off an energetic and well-played second set! The boys are ON tonight and only wish the first set was available somewhere....

A FIVE MINUTE pre-lyric intro. Phenomenal. Jerry playing out of this world
And We Bid You Goodnight
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace
I read in Deadbase the only rehearsing the band did after their last show (10/15) was a 15 minute soundcheck but you would not guess that by this UJB > Goodnight encore. Sounds so damn good by everyone, albeit slightly cut off on the official release
Uncle John's Band
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace
First one since 10/19/74 and it rocks as a second encore! Great vocals and some real nice jamming towards the end / into Bid You Goodnight
