Absolutely outstanding Garcia, a couple moments made my jaw drop

Greatest Story Ever Told

I dig this one, Garcia plays some longer, watery lines that get the job done in a satisfying way

Just listen to the Wolf--funky, dirty, sort of countrified--a unique and powerful version

This one is perfect
Brown Eyed Women

Lakeland Civic Center

Excellent version, and sung well--best "I cut hickory just to fire the still" delivery ever

Very clean, smooth, and well-played. Others have more fireworks, but this hits a particular spot.
China Doll

Fox Theatre

This is an incredible second set, but I'm flabbergasted that this ranks #1. It's very slow, and Garcia screws up the verses AND the vocal outro. The instrumental outro is nice, and it's not a bad version overall, but #1? For a sleeper, check out 1973-02-19....

I have to go against the consensus here. This one is indeed great, but I don't think the song had heated up to where it would be yet in Spring 1977. I do like the May 26th Baltimore version better than this....for even better ones, try 1979-11-06 and 1982-04-06...
