Morning Dew

First set opener, I really dig the MDs os this era. Still kind of sturdy and brisk but becoming the majestic ballad that it was in the 70s/80s.

This is an all-timer, I say...Garcia plays like a trumpet here, pre-midi...

This is fantastic and should receive votes! On Download Series 7. Garcia's guitar is REALLY loud on the solo!

The Other One
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium

This is one of the best "short" (~12 minutes) versions they ever did, the peak right before verse 2 is stunning

This is a great one, from a great show. However, the end solo could be longer, which is why 10-29 is better....but this is up there
Eyes Of The World

This has no Garcia leads after the third verse (all Lesh). It is still one of the best versions ever, particularly the between verse leads are long and powerful.

One of the best one-solo versions. See also 1973-02-22. But Fall 80 and after were another level for this song.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo

Community War Memorial Auditorium

I'm not sure why 11-6 i ranked above this, good as it is. I'm REALLY not sure why Englishtown is, it's not even in the same league. The arpeggiated peak before Rio Grande-io is unique and stunning.
