An MLB and Mojo jam hybrid. Already submitted as mojo by cgarces. Only 3 minutes, but worth the trip.

Eyes Of The World
Aug. 16, 1981
MacArthur Court, U of Oregon

This one gets to a crazy place before drums, which, it turns out, is a prankster reunion.

Estimated Prophet

MacArthur Court, U of Oregon

Might and glory gonna be my name.

Eyes Of The World
April 8, 1978
Veterans Memorial Coliseum

The Eyes of the 1st S>F>E>E sequence. A lot of piano, some episodes of beauty and, near the end, some rio-grandeo-type quiet to loud modulation.

Looks Like Rain
March 21, 1972
Academy of Music

This isn't my song, or my era for that matter, but this is great, especially given that it's the first. I didn't know that Jerry ever played pedal steel on this song. This version is a long way from what this song later became.
C. C. Rider
Dec. 5, 1981
Market Square Arena

This is really two CC Riders and it's one of a kind. A slower blues followed by a rock and roll C.C. Rider with Bob (slide) and Jerry both taking solos. Definitely a nice curio.
The Wheel
Dec. 5, 1981
Market Square Arena

Sometimes I put a Wheel on to have a minute to reflect on life. But most Wheels are similar and the differences primarily reflect the changes in personnel on the stage. It's great to find one with something as different as this 12/5/81 intro is - but the whole version is pure and beautiful. This version belongs way up on the ladder. I didn't know this one before finding it here in second place. This is why this site is so great!
Bird Song
Dec. 5, 1981
Market Square Arena

I like '81-'82 for Bird Song and I loved the ethereal aesthetic of this one.
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
Nov. 2, 1979
Nassau Coliseum

Best new Supplication I've heard in a while. I went straight back to it - did I just hear that?
