Brown Eyed Women

Every bit the equal of Cornell. 8/24/80 still has a better solo, but this is 1977 y'all.

Perfect, with some filthy guitar in the outro.

Scarlet Begonias

1984 audience only standalone Scarlet (touch) at Red Rocks. Great solo, excellent transition.

10 minutes, on YouTube and worth a peek in b/w scarlet>bucket and terrapin.

Hell in a Bucket

Hampton Coliseum

Out of Scarlet Begonias to open the second set, with some teases of the song in the transition.

Sugaree
Sept. 6, 1980
State Fairgrounds

Solo number 2 is an absolute shredfest. I do not use that word lightly. This is certainly underrated and belongs where the June 80 dead in Alaska Sugaree is - if not higher.

This is great. Jerry peaks twice during the scarlet solo and voodooola has this video on YouTube. Jerry teases hell in a bucket early in the transition and this is not a lengthy transition - it's still cool. But a sick scarlet solo and the bucket is everything it should be to open set 2.

This is not my period at all, but cgarces is right. Post rio grandeo is the best post coma stuff I've heard and before was good and the man is in voice for the evening. There is life after the coma.
The Music Never Stopped

The outro is the real deal. Garcia gets to fanning, but then appears to go for a higher peak, which he never really achieves, but he does extend the shredding for a bit, so no real complaints. Clearly this belongs in the top 10.
Comes A Time

War Memorial

The top two on this list are my two favorites. There are some other lists for which I can't say the same, but there are two a+ versions on top here at least.
