Mind Left Body Jam
Oct. 18, 1978
Winterland Arena

An MLB and Mojo jam hybrid. Already submitted as mojo by cgarces. Only 3 minutes, but worth the trip.

MacArthur Court, U of Oregon

With Kens Kesey and Babbs.

Eyes Of The World
Aug. 16, 1981
MacArthur Court, U of Oregon

This one gets to a crazy place before drums, which, it turns out, is a prankster reunion.

Estimated Prophet

MacArthur Court, U of Oregon

Might and glory gonna be my name.

Eyes Of The World
April 8, 1978
Veterans Memorial Coliseum

The Eyes of the 1st S>F>E>E sequence. A lot of piano, some episodes of beauty and, near the end, some rio-grandeo-type quiet to loud modulation.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Feb. 3, 1979
Market Square Arena

This is the best SF that I know of for which only an audience recording is available. June 18, 1983 is another good one - and it has a similar number of votes - but it's not in this league. Anyone know of any good AUD only SFs?
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
March 27, 1989
The Omni

I listened to the whole sequence, one of my favorites, which in turn goes into the familiar sequence of drums>space>wheel. The Scarlet solo and transition are absolutely worth the time and the Fire is pretty good. You're right, the Fire, Fire, Fire before the outro is some nice late 80s enthusiasm from someone who didn't always have it.
Cold Rain and Snow
July 4, 1986
Rich Stadium

I love it.
The Music Never Stopped
Jan. 10, 1978
Shrine Auditorium

deadhoe69 - I've seen your other posts on the MNS mid jam and I agree that this song is best judged by the spacey section that comes at the end of the lyrics. You are right - this one is good. Try 6/23/84 for another winner in that section.
Take A Step Back
July 12, 1987
Giants Stadium

The better one comes before Ramble on Rose (Just like NYC gets a roar.) This take a step back is by far the best ever because of the actual music. Listen to it. You'll agree that it's the best 5 seconds of step back ever.
