Surprising encore (only time) and absolutely ripping!

Little Red Rooster

Greek Theatre - University of California
Mathew Kelly on harp takes Rooster to a whole other level! So dang good.
The Other One
Feb. 3, 1979
Market Square Arena
On fire with Phil absolutely thundering his way through. The jam after the first stanza and chorus is unhinged!
Loser
July 13, 1984
Greek Theatre, U. Of California
Very nice version with something special sprinkled in. A good example of Jerry's voice during this time period; not young, not old, just beautifully seasoned, which lends itself well to a song like Loser.
Wharf Rat
June 28, 1976
Auditorium Theatre
Very nice version with Keith high in the mix. Great harmony from Donna. Ends with a pulsing jam into a very short Drums. WR comes out of proto FOTM (called Happiness is Drumming), which came out of Eyes with the final modal jam. Worth your time to listen to this section of the show.
Loose Lucy
Feb. 26, 1973
Pershing Municipal Auditorium
Stank & swagger alright! I love the heaviness of this version. Jerry chewing up Lucy and spitting her out.
