It was probably just my youth, but it could be a set killer for me in the day, especially if the show was starting off as a dud. I did comment on 4/24/78 awhile ago and basically said the same thing.

I hate this song, but the show has such great flow that the Roses is even tolerable and maybe enjoyable and that says a lot coming from me regarding this tune.
