Mama Tried

Winterland Arena

Wolf's tone is even killer on Mama. I have no problem saying this is best ever.

Stir It Up

The Omni

It's a nice one, but the Cap version is the definitive. Listen for yourself.

Digging this show. Nice Spanish Jam>Drums>Wheel.

The Music Never Stopped
June 5, 1993
Giants Stadium

Hot version with an Easy Answers in it. The jam out of Easy Answers flat out smokes.

I Need A Miracle

Madison Square Garden

Could do no wrong at this show...even the Miracle smokes. This one blows away 90% of all the versions out there.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 31, 1978
Winterland Arena

Probably one of the greatest shows, but for some odd reason....doesn't get much hype. The set list is like a greatest hits and it is all played really well.
Not Fade Away
Dec. 19, 1978
State Fairgrounds Coliseum

Yeah, the transition is sickleberry....Jerry has unique riff as Bob noodles NFA until it's a full blown NFA. Thanks, brah. With that being said...a cool jam occurs half way thru and this becomes one sweet NFA. Cajun vibe and all. Nothing like I have ever heard....sweet sweet call.
Stella Blue
Dec. 19, 1978
State Fairgrounds Coliseum

My brah darkstar67 recommended this. This version has some serious expressive Jerry vocals like its the first time singing the song. The outro ain't Winterland Oct. 78, but its gorgeous and has this cool vibe as Bob pushes NFA. Killer segue. Hey DS67....you doing dead and co Alpine?
Terrapin Station
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon

The segment of Terrapin>D>O1>Space>Stephen>NFA is some of the tastiest stuff in GD history. Also known as Disc 3.
Promised Land
Nov. 9, 1973
Winterland Arena

Better than 11/11.
