This Bertha cooks. Definately deserves to be here. Jerry forgets the last verse, but the less Jerry sings, the more Jerry plays.

Jerry shreds this one up.

Not as good as the shrine, but has its amazing moments.

As heartfelt as the Europe versions. Worth a listen. Lots of epic stuff on DP 23.

Definately should be in the converation as heady. Smokin' second set opener to this very fine show.

No its not the best night on tour. Not even top 5.

Just awesome...blows the May versions away. The band gives a little extra on every song they played this night.
They Love Each Other
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park

Like this more than some of the ones from May...seems to have a little more energy.
Promised Land

Raceway Park

This version is hot as hell for a pretty simple song. Jerry kills it at the end.

Always liked this one better than 6/18/74. It has about 6 more minutes of length than 6/18. Prior to roadtrips, 6/18 was always more well known than 6/16. Don't get me wrong, both are great versions, but this one does it for me more. I am also not from Iowa, either. I love the extended transition into Big River.
