I know this is apart of the 27 minute MLTB Jam, but clearly half way into it...it becomes DS. An amzing 27 minutes, regradless!

This one should not be denied. Heady version out of a hot Estimated and into a gorgeous China Doll!

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Aug. 16, 1980
Mississippi River Festival
Definitely up-vote worthy. They are firing on all cylinders on this one. Jer rips a new one at the end of Rider. Good call, Sleuth!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 13, 1980
Long Beach Arena
Great Scarlet>Fire here! Ur right...if DL would have published this one...It would probably be top 5. My beef has always been with the Mosque S/F and Estimated being ranked so high...likely due to it being his first release.

I will give those shows a listen. I know, one should not mention 94 around here...but I respect all the eras with some being more epic than others. With that being said....those 2 versions can hang in any era.

Totally agree with the above...seemed ho-hum, but then Jerry shreds a little.

Good call! Love that short bit of insanity. My unexpected gems are 3/27/94 Dew and 10/14/94 S/F.
