My favorite, though I don't know many versions of this song!

Adams Field House, U of Montana
Legit. As per usual, Keith and Jerry own this song...

Eyes Of The World
May 21, 1974
Edmundson Pavilion
Overshadowed by the monster second set Playin', this deserves more attention. Tight playing, tons 'o energy, and Phil is massive and funky. Check it!!

Scarlet Begonias
June 8, 1974
Coliseum Stadium
Garica's solos are inventive and unique...this version is so tight yet the jams seem to stretch forever!

Estimated Prophet
May 25, 1977
The Mosque
Sorry, but I just don't see how this version is at the top of the list. Besides a few standouts, IMHO this song really didn't catch fire until the fall of 77. A good version, no doubt, but nowhere near the best.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Nov. 18, 1978
Uptown Theatre
High energy transition with lots of great noodles from Jerry
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Jan. 31, 1978
Uptown Theater
Super sweet transition jam...this is seriously underrated.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 9, 1981
Activity Center - University of Colorado
Absolutely blissed-out jamming in the transition.
Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance
Oct. 19, 1981
Sports Palace
This Saint brings the RAGE!!!! Probably the hottest version I've ever heard, and the Jerry space jam at the end is really cool. I agree, a fantastic 2nd set.
