Nobody's Fault But Mine
Feb. 22, 1974
Winterland Arena

This one has more of an Other One-ish feel than most...they seem like they're pushing for it but end up going in a completely different direction

P.N.E. Coliseum

One of the best mellow blues versions...killer noodles from Jerry

Weather Report Suite

Adams Field House, U of Montana

Very graceful playing on this one, gets kind of spacey leading up to a smooth as butter transition into Dark Star.

Truckin'
Sept. 14, 1974
Olympiahalle

Killer jam out of this Truckin' with a huge peak that gives way to some fast-paced space-jazz from Jerry, and landing on a quick little mellow MLBJ

Mind Left Body Jam

Beautiful, mellow version. Garica's tone is especially sweet, with an almost country-ish flavor; sounds like he's using a bit of slide?

An absolutely stunning, note perfect transition right here. Garcia weaving total magic. Second best of the year behind 10-2-77.
The Other One

Lakeland Civic Center

Whoa. This first half is some of the most balls to the wall Other One jamming you'll hear. Worthy of the 1968-69 versions!
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
May 26, 1977
Baltimore Civic Center

Top notch version from a pretty overlooked show.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
April 23, 1977
Springfield Civic Center

Probably the best of the year. The final jam starts so tentatively you think it's going nowhere, then - BAM - they just knock you sideways. Amazing stuff.
Sugaree
May 22, 1977
The Sportatorium

A fantastic version, but I think it's actually a little overshadowed by the other greats of May - check out 5/11, 5/19, and 5/28 for some of the pinnacles of this tune IMHO.
