Monster reprise, longer than many from '68.

Beautiful, flowing, spacey version, reminiscent of 3/7/81 from a couple weeks earlier.

Truckin'
June 16, 1974
Iowa State Fairgrounds
Excellent version of Truckin', but what really makes it is the Nobody's/MLB segments and subsequent jamming around these themes. Just amazing exploration with lots of energy to go around. They change gears with such skillful ease that they almost make it sound easy.
Eyes Of The World
Oct. 16, 1976
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium
Oops! That's supposed to be 10-16-74.
Scarlet Begonias
June 26, 1974
Providence Civic Center
Hot version from an underrated 1st set that, for whatever reason, wasn't included on the official release (Dick's Picks 12). This show as a whole just might be a little better than 6/28.
St. Stephen
April 23, 1969
The Ark
I'm a die hard pre-hiatus guy, but I second grendel's rec and will throw 10/15/77 and 1/22/78 into the mix. Guarantee they'll change your minds! ;)
Eyes Of The World
July 31, 1974
Dillon Stadium
Very strong version with lots of big time Phil, though this doesn't quite reach the majestic heights of, say, 6/20, 8/6, or 9/11/74.
