Nobody's Fault But Mine
Feb. 22, 1974
Winterland Arena

This one has more of an Other One-ish feel than most...they seem like they're pushing for it but end up going in a completely different direction

One of the best mellow blues versions...killer noodles from Jerry

Adams Field House, U of Montana

Very graceful playing on this one, gets kind of spacey leading up to a smooth as butter transition into Dark Star.

Truckin'
Sept. 14, 1974
Olympiahalle

Killer jam out of this Truckin' with a huge peak that gives way to some fast-paced space-jazz from Jerry, and landing on a quick little mellow MLBJ

Mind Left Body Jam

Beautiful, mellow version. Garica's tone is especially sweet, with an almost country-ish flavor; sounds like he's using a bit of slide?

Orpheum Theater

Absolutely incredible jazzy and flowing jamming on this version. Top notch stuff and might be the best of the year. This whole 2nd set is one of the best of all time!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Nov. 6, 1977
Broome County Arena

Yes, there are certainly a number of blown lyrics, but if you can hear past that, I think this version has a wonderfully subdued, lilting and jazzy transition, one of the best of the period IMHO. The Fire also contains some very hot playing.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
May 12, 1977
Auditorium Theatre

Incredible version, the final jam peak is INSANE!!

Cobo Arena

This one is indeed excellent...not as hot as the night after, but very strong!

St. Louis Arena

Easily the best spring 77 version - very hot jam and the first ever pairing with Eyes.
