Nobody's Fault But Mine
Feb. 22, 1974
Winterland Arena

This one has more of an Other One-ish feel than most...they seem like they're pushing for it but end up going in a completely different direction

One of the best mellow blues versions...killer noodles from Jerry

Weather Report Suite

Adams Field House, U of Montana

Very graceful playing on this one, gets kind of spacey leading up to a smooth as butter transition into Dark Star.

Truckin'
Sept. 14, 1974
Olympiahalle

Killer jam out of this Truckin' with a huge peak that gives way to some fast-paced space-jazz from Jerry, and landing on a quick little mellow MLBJ

Beautiful, mellow version. Garica's tone is especially sweet, with an almost country-ish flavor; sounds like he's using a bit of slide?

Bird Song

Hollywood Palladium

I agree, this one is painfully underrated. More people should hear this!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 23, 1977
Springfield Civic Center

This is a great one. Maybe not quite as good as Cornell but definitely a standout from '77.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 2, 1977
Paramount Theatre

Seriously, this is probably the best version of the year. Wish I could vote for it twice.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 17, 1977
Memorial Coliseum

A great one! Definitely better than Cornell, but not quite as stunning as 5/21/77, which is the 2nd best of the year IMO.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 8, 1977
Barton Hall - Cornell University

There are better in May '77 alone IMHO. Check out 5/13, 5/17, and especially 5/21, as others have mentioned. Still an epic version though, with a totally unique transition.
