The vocal flub at the song's peak ("goin' where the wind don't blow so strange") is really jarring to the band, so much so that it becomes an instrumental flub as well. My take is that while the rest of the show is justly praised, this (really) awful, big moment should have kept this from being released. If this He's Gone were played Englishtown in '77, I dare say tens of thousands of fans would remember the show very differently.
