find the best versions of grateful dead songs

Fantastic version - came here to see where this ranked - currently 2nd place, only after the legendary 6/24/70 show. Perhaps, as someone else said, the best solo I've ever heard from Bobby.

I did my part - my vote got this to the first page where it belongs.

Fillmore East (Late Show)
This should be MUCH higher on the list - it’s the Dark Star that has all the Dark Stars in it - from deeply weird and scary and almost silent to beautifully melodic, loud and powerful. Should be in the top 10. I guess I better listen to 2/13-14 again because I’m thinking this one might be even better.

7/17 was officially released as a Dave's Pick (I think), with a nice chunk of of 7/16 as a bonus disc. But this is an all-time great show - the 2nd set is incredible, slow and drippy, never mind this Stella! Freedom Hall from 74 is the only one I can think of that can stand up to this one.

Starts out with a blast of feedback, then total silence, one of the scariest versions I've heard - then turns into an absolutely gorgeous melodic journey.
