This should be MUCH higher on the list - it’s the Dark Star that has all the Dark Stars in it - from deeply weird and scary and almost silent to beautifully melodic, loud and powerful. Should be in the top 10. I guess I better listen to 2/13-14 again because I’m thinking this one might be even better.

7/17 was officially released as a Dave's Pick (I think), with a nice chunk of of 7/16 as a bonus disc. But this is an all-time great show - the 2nd set is incredible, slow and drippy, never mind this Stella! Freedom Hall from 74 is the only one I can think of that can stand up to this one.

Starts out with a blast of feedback, then total silence, one of the scariest versions I've heard - then turns into an absolutely gorgeous melodic journey.

Fantastic version. Sounds like a souped-up Dark Star. Everybody is killing it - especially Keith, who sounds like freakin' McCoy Tyner here. Just heard that the sbd for this didn't hit circulation till 2015, otherwise I think this would be MUCH higher rated.

No doubt this would rank higher if it ever came out as an official release. Hey David L. - please put this out as an official release! An excellent show, and a fantastic day - our mini-Woodstock.
