West L.A. Fadeaway

Phil just bounces on the root note the whole song, literally. Nasty solos by Jerry as well.

To Lay Me Down

Capitol Center
Huge fan of this one. The dynamics as they weave through the parts is so sweet. And Jerry tells us what’s up with the solo. Some of my favorite guitar work by him, and Wolf with the single coils just sinks into your soul. Listen to the Jerry Moore AUD on the archive. There’s a huge firecracker that goes off as they’re finishing the chorus before the solo. Like, it’s real fucking loud. But no one loses a beat and Jerry just sinks into this incredible solo. Worth a listen.

The solo screw-up just makes it that much better I think, that shit is real and the show must go on. They got it together. People make mistakes.
Ramble On Rose

Red Rocks Amphitheatre
The band are really locked in. Dig that groove they're in before the first verse. Goddamn! Jerry' solo is interesting and a little whimsical, but it fits. Jerry is also feeling his vocals. Good track. Whole night is really exquisite.

This is my favorite version. Listen to Bob”s rhythm playing.
