Let It Grow
March 24, 1987
Hampton Coliseum

Insanely tight (and insane) at that full throttle, breakneck 1980s LiG tempo. Holy smokes!

I Need A Miracle
June 20, 1991
Pine Knob Music Theatre

Erupts from the energy of an already smoking set

Stella Blue
Dec. 30, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Crunchy at the start and then Jerry works is sweet with the pitch bender

Estimated Prophet
Dec. 27, 1990
Coliseum Arena

The jam goes from full-tilt> far-out> lost-in-space> Comes A Time

Standing On The Moon
June 7, 1991
Deer Creek Music Center

The original epic SOTM. Hornsby's piano is heavy in the mix to great effect. Jerry takes "be with you" to the max and follows with a sharp solo.

Saint of Circumstance
Dec. 30, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Yup, was there and still waiting for it to turn into Dear Prudence instead of Drumz.
Victim Or The Crime
June 19, 1991
Pine Knob

Total shame that this was omitted from Download Series Vol. 11. This is the definitive version. Every lick was perfectly placed and the tension built continuously throughout. As the song began to fade, Mickey worked The Beam more and more until he was kicking it, bashing it, and nearly jumping up and down on it. Jerry had to start Scarlet before things got completely out of hand.
Playin' In The Band
June 9, 1991
Buckeye Lake Music Center

Big power from the start, this one is super tight and never lets up.
Throwing Stones
June 20, 1991
Pine Knob Music Theatre

The transition from Throwing Stones into Iko Iko was immaculate.
Jack Straw
Dec. 28, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

I've listened to a lot of Jack Straws, but I still favor this one. Phil's sound was just so perfect for the entire show and the Jack Straw really benefitted.
