Gotta be a curmudgeon here. I listened to this version from the 30 Trips box probably 5 times in the last few days, and I just don’t get it. Jerry totally blows the lyrics in the first verse, and I find the jam quite sloppy in places and largely uninspiring. I think the stand-alone versions from 1974 and the versions paired with Fire in 1977 are generally much better. To be fair, I’m a not a big fan of 1976 in general and rarely venture past 1974 in my daily listening.
