Turn On Your Love Light
June 20, 1969
Fillmore East

Absolute madness. Pigpen takes the Hammond for an extended stroll, and Jerry ends up on an acoustic before it's over.

You got to admit that that sweet, sweet jelly's so good

Acoustic guitar gunslingers.

I Know You Rider
May 7, 1970
DuPont Gym - MIT

Another piece of awesome slightly obscured by being a 1970 audience recording.

It's All Over Now Baby Blue

The benediction at the end of this night's religious experience.

Playin' In The Band
April 26, 1972
Jahrhunderthalle

This is the "it all comes together" performance of Playin'. Keith adds that last little bit of the equation, and Playin' evolves from a rocker to a jam that can make your brain drool. the 71 to 72 transition of the song is a fun one to follow along with, but this version always comes up for me as the absolute highlight.
Hard to Handle
Aug. 6, 1971
Hollywood Palladium

I want to marry and have babies with the AUD recording of this show. And all the children will be named Hard to Handle. That said, get your grubby paws on the 'Road Trips' bonus disc soundboard of this. It's....different. Slightly less high energy without the audience joining in, but holy hell Phil is doing some interesting things that get lost in the AUD.
Dark Star
Oct. 18, 1974
Winterland Arena

Listening from the Phil/Ned weirdness on thru to the Dew is the sonic equivalent to scuba diving. it's just an aural vacation.
