It's A Man's World
April 12, 1970
Fillmore West

Speedy, bouncy version - even the drummers get off on this one.

King Bee
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

This Bee growls - must be why it's the King.

Good Lovin'
May 4, 1972
Olympia Theater

Long and wandering, but it finds a lot of interesting places along the way. Pig also manages to talk about cars and make it sound filthy. Bonus.

Beautiful weirdness here - Even the 'Outer Limits' space spookiness is intriguing.

That Tighten-up is porno-tastic.

This one is kinda unbalanced, somehow...the first 20 to 25 minutes just don't grab my attention - it isn't 'bad' by any stretch, it just does nothing for me...but that last 10 minutes or so makes up for it. Saying that there's a Philo Stomp and a double-time Feelin' Groovy in there actually sells this section of jam short. It's more than that, somehow - again, just can't really put my finger on it, but the tail end of this version is worth ingesting.
