Wharf Rat
Sept. 27, 1976
Community War Memorial Auditorium

Keith shines on a long, flowing intro section that spills into space-mellow Rat-Goodness

Last Time
Dec. 8, 1993
Sports Arena

Emerges from Space with a very long intro & very distinct and sustained St. Stephen tease! My favorite version.

Dear Mr. Fantasy
July 18, 1989
Alpine Valley

Part of what made this Alpine run so legendary. Soulful and Brent-astic.

Big Railroad Blues
Aug. 14, 1971
Berkeley Community Theater

Maybe the best pure hard riving Rock&Roll version. Lean, mean, and Jerry supreme!

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Nov. 2, 1977
Field House - Seneca College

Rarely heard (left out of DP Bonus tracks for Vol. 34) but another sweet/smooth '77 winner.

Black Peter
Dec. 12, 1969
Thelma Theater

Really nice organ from TC on this one, which is a rare treat for this tune, and overall a great rendition with a trippy-slow but well-grooved cadence and hard blues feel.
Easy Wind
Dec. 12, 1969
Thelma Theater

Sweet slow snaky jam in this one. Just outstanding. May be the best thing about DaP 10.
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
May 18, 1977
Fox Theatre

Great, lengthy exploration. Why this show doesn't get more attention (see: Eyes) is beyond my understanding.
Comes A Time
May 9, 1977
War Memorial

It doesn't get any better than this. Jerry's signature solo contains that "X" factor of emotion that can't really be described or quantified. You just know it when you hear it and the notes ring out in a way that touches the listener on a purely emotional level. Chills every time.
Playin' In The Band
Dec. 31, 1972
Winterland Arena

Can't believe I didn't know about this one. Great expansive jamming to end one of the best years ever for this song and gearing up for another to follow.
