Dark Star

For those who don't care for the feedback/chase dog from the room DS's...this one is jazzy, jammy, rockin', & beautiful. No distortion; none needed

They Love Each Other
May 11, 1977
St. Paul Civic Center Arena

Yes yes yes. Every TLEO in May of 77 is stellar (perhaps the whole year) but this one has to be on any serious list of TLEO best-ofs)
The Other One
June 8, 1977
Winterland Arena

Overlooked and under voted. Too good to be sitting at just 4. Grab the box and listen again, or find an AUD. It's worth it.
The Other One
July 27, 1982
Red Rocks Ampitheatre

Early 80's Other Ones are under appreciated. Short by old school standards but packing a short, powerful punch. This is a good example of a quality O1 from that time...and it's hard to beat Red Rocks.
Dark Star
Oct. 31, 1971
Ohio Theatre

Another one I love for having the lion's share of the tune devoted to jazz-inspired stretches and themes developed out of pure sweet jamming.
On The Road Again
Aug. 7, 1982
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

They didn't play many bad ones but this might be the best of the bunch. Heckuva show overall!
