Let It Grow

The most "Spanish-flavored" of LIG's, evokes old southwest almost Mariachi vibe. Brilliant Garcia changes-Rise&Fall!

Recent Road Trips release is a perfecto: Outstanding vocals from Jerry and a jam after the lyrics that grooves and rocks super-hard. 5-star version!

Jerry's voice just exactly bluesy perfect...groovy & slow acoustic cadence & the boys harmonizing sweetly on the chrouses. Outstanding early version

A+ for the crowd alone. Are there better ones? Of course. But I was there & the ecstacy after 14 years of no Box makes this version legendary.

Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo

Astonishingly strong Jerry vocals, especially given the year, and some of the prettiest Hornsby-led fills make this one a real great sleeper pick.

Makes it sound effortless doesn't he?
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

Hey FreedomHaul That show would be 10/29/77 and it is my all time favorite show of shows. And while I'm here I should say this is a cool 90's version but for this trio i always compare to the '76-'77 years even tho I know I shouldn't cuz it's not really a fair comparison.
Ramble On Rose

Nice flow to the bridge jam and a little extra tinkling from Brent before Jerry gets to Crazy Otto. Energetic reading overall and a little extra punch to "goodbye Mama & Papa."

Features one of the most delicate & beautiful passages ever played, right after Jerry tells us how he's stayed in every blue light cheap hotel. This whole show has gems sprinkled throughout.

I like this version the more I hear it. Has that mellow '76 vibe but like carrion crow says it's not slow but instead bristling with energy and tight jams. The brief but well played drum break is just exactly perfect. Nice version.
