If a SBD of this version and show existed we'd all be talking it up. But the AUD is pretty good, & this RJ has tasty Garcia licks. Don't overlook it!

For the love of Jerry you MUST listen to this immediately. Cease all other activities and prepare to have your jaw hit the floor!

Seguing out of a sick Franklin's Tower it gets fast, flawless rolling licks from Jerry and great timing from the rest +killer final Jam

Brokedown Palace

Baltimore Civic Center

Sweet end to a magical show. Perfect harmonies w/Brent. Only flaw is when Bob says "careful up there" to someone doin' somethin' werid in the rafters

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 20, 1984
Philadelphia Civic Center

Talk about slipping through the cracks: This is a classic long, jamming sick slick trip thru both tunes. Intro to FIRE one of the best ever performed

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 11, 1977
St. Paul Civic Center Arena

@cgarces: Agree that Tuscaloosa has this one beat (by a nose). More I listen to 5/17 the more it amazes me. Have to agree to disagree about 5/8, though. A fine version, even very fine, but I put this and many others in May '77 alone ahead of 5/8. (I ranted about this in a longer fashion under the 5/8 posting if you're interested ;-)

Alpine Valley

Having been there I can attest--it's a winner.
Eyes Of The World
Oct. 9, 1982
Frost Amphitheatre

Yes, Corals! Almost forgot about this one...so many 80's EYES were rushed and choppy--NOT here. For one of the few other slower, groovy versions of this year check out 4-3-82 from the Scope!
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
Dec. 27, 1977
Winterland Arena

A worthy addition!
