Playin' In The Band
Oct. 8, 1981
Forum Theater

The connective tissue between a legendary S>F and a very underrated '81 Terrapin, this is a mellow exploration that unfolds beautifully

Mama Tried
Oct. 15, 1977
Moody Coliseum - Southern Methodist University

Doesn't get more disco than this. The Dusborne matrix version is filthy, crunchy, and powerful. My personal fav for some time now. Play it loud!

Black Throated Wind
Oct. 27, 1973
Indianapolis State Fair Coliseum

If the soundboard were cleaner, this would be a classic. The climax is absolutely stunning and seems to never end.

Indianapolis State Fair Coliseum

The mix isn't the best, but the performance is stellar. Definitely worth checking out.

Let It Grow
Oct. 14, 1980
Warfield Theater

Part of an unusual sequence between Tennessee Jed and The Wheel. A standard version for the era, elevated by focused playing and smooth transitions

Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
April 6, 1978
Curtis Hixon Convention Center

Incredibly high energy throughout with maybe the single best transition into the Supplication jam (not the verse) I've heard yet. They really nail this one.
He's Gone
Sept. 3, 1972
Folsom Field, University of Colorado

My go-to version. Practically flawless, effortlessly gorgeous and the outro jam into The Other One is sublime. A+
Tennessee Jed
July 31, 1973
Roosevelt Stadium

I've come back to this version many times and it never disappoints. Crazy underrated, probably bc this show is AUD only. The crescendo of the final solo is phenomenal!
Black Throated Wind
Aug. 12, 1972
Sacramento Memorial Auditorium

Very, very good
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
March 23, 1974
Cow Palace

Total powerhouse, certainly one of the best versions out there.
