Big River
June 26, 1974
Providence Civic Center

Outrageous version. Takes a second to get the mix dialed in, but man they blow the roof off. This has to be one of the best Wall of Sound shows.

Wharf Rat
Sept. 11, 1974
Alexandra Palace

This is definitely super underrated, one of the best wharf rats ever. A psychedelic masterpiece
Morning Dew
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre

I think this is the best Morning Dew. It's huge, heavy, but also clean and smooth. It's note perfect, really. This is how to start a Grateful Dead show, really sets the tone for the rest of the evening (one of their finest nights on stage).
Dark Star
Oct. 16, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

For cjwhitehead above, on 10/18/72 they played Playing>Drums>Dark Star>Morning Dew>Playing Reprise. Check that one out, one of the greatest sequences of their career
Stella Blue
Oct. 21, 1978
Winterland Arena

This really isn't even in my top 5 or 10. I mean it's decent, but there are soooo many from 73/74 more worthy. 10/19/73 and 9/10/74 are perhaps the most notable versions for me, personally
Looks Like Rain
Oct. 19, 1973
Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena

One of the best versions ever! Probably my favorite!
