A psychedelic mind-fuck. Some racing and cool interweaving beats and solos. Really flowing and awesome version.

Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance

Garces, I will have to agree to disagree on this one, but its all subjective, I thought this Road Trips was great because it recognized some quality shows not well circulated; thus as a consequence of never having quality boards available the sound is a bit flat, sound quality actually lacking in places. The playing, however, to my ears at least, sounds great. Nothing jaw-dropping but a strong collection of very well played songs. What about this Road Trips and the playing are making you not feel it?

Super high energy, especially the Saint, the Lost Sailor achieves all it should. Good combo on a very strong spring 80' run.

Holy fuck this thing is hot. Scorching for that matter.....has to be considered at least top 5. Garcia's solo is off the freaking chain. Should not be stuck with three votes, needs way more, for real.... as a common courtesy I think it would be appropriate to pitch some performances worth mentioning-- I've been on a huge China>Rider binge recently and for recommendation I will say the China>Rider from 12/9/81 first and foremost, and then if your'e feeling the vibes from there, the previous three China>Rider's i've posted are all killers, 3/7/70, 8/16/80, 9/9/72. All are versions that could easily be considered top tier.

Mainlinefoos, i've listened to this show before, for whatever reason I glazed over this S&D, now that you've given me the heads up... I have to say this gives 2/5/78 a run for its money. Forceful leads by Jerry for sure, good call.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

This is seriously good stuff, the transition jamming is on fire, Excellent CCS and the Rider smokin'. This is deserving of contention.
